  1. Damn, Steve is looking awesome.
And pissed. Like me. He is a freaking Navy SEAL, he could teach stress management. Forced ‘ohana + BFF’ moments again. Does not work for me. Behave like a decent friend on a daily basis, then I’ll believe you.

    • Couldn’t have said it any better. This plot line is already ridiculous. Why do they alway try to force this sh/it on us? Stopped working many seasons ago for me.
I still love and watch the show for the action, the crime and mostly for Alex (and Alex working with pretty much everyone else), but this BFF stuff is annoying as hell. Simply because I never, ever felt the love between these two. Sorry, it’s just not there. And that’s why all scenes with Danny are a waste of screen time for me.

  2. I think this is the episode with the very irritating clip I saw. Some more baiting for those certain “fans”. How is Steve under any more stress than usual? They haven’t shown him to be in great distress so far this season.

  3. Sometimes the level of downright stupidity on this show amazes me. Why do they believe that Steve is not managing his health problems? Danny can’t manage his own personal life, Tani and Junior don’t know him and why was Dog even there?

This is a conversation he would have had with his doctor, not a bunch of characters who need to be in therapy themselves. (And if Grover was concerned, his character would have approached Steve privately to see how he was feeling.)

If I worked with Danny I’d have stress issues too. Maybe the solution to Steve’s problems is to fire Danny.

  4. Yeah as that is why I love either McEddie or McGrover. And really just think that Grover missing there would really make sure he is the true friend there. And really think that despite good intentions. Still Steve can do without. But then again, Grover missing as Lou is the true friend. As he and Steve are becoming more and more confidants and true friends. Please more McGrover Peter L!

  5. Agree with all ya’ll about the silliness of this. As far as viewers have been lead to believe based on what we have been presented on screen, Steve has managed to deal with the brutal death of his best friend and his father in the span of a few days, multiple session of torture, and an almost beheading. Yet somehow, he can no longer deal with life’s stresses on his own.
I am curious as to what evidence Dog and even Kamekona can bring to the table. I also had the same thought about Grover. He would have brought some beer over one evening or asked Steve to meet him for breakfast one morning to check up on Steve’s PTSD group meeting attendance. I look forward to what Alex will bring to this but I am sorry we already see silliness on the way. I really don’t like the scene clip we have seen when Steve tells Danny to never change. (how does Danny ever pass a physical with what has to be skyrocketing BP?) i assume it is related to this episode in some way.
That first pic you posted – OMG. I feel so bad for Steve. I really wish we could see him go off on his “friends” at some point. That would relieve a lot of stress.

  6. The pictures looks a lot like an attempt at an “intervention” to me.
I normally try not to antispate too much of what an episode will be like or judge it beforehand. In the past, most of the times it turned out to be totally the opposite of what I thought it would be like in any case.
But if the pictures are in order of what I think will happen, it will surely bug me the whole time that Steve just came from swmming – and either his pants will be miraculously dry, or he will be sitting there with wet pants. NO matter what is being said or who is among those who think they have a say – those wet pants alone would give me that face we Steve is having on the pictures. 😆
But then again they might just be discussing the next day’s weather, who know …. 😀

    • I had wondered when steve put on tennis shoes because I would not think he would have put them on to go out for his swim. I also assumed this was right after his swim as well and agree it looks like an intervention. Kamekona is reading from a sheet of paper, so I wonder whether he has compiled a list of concerns? If only the halloween episode would have aired when it was supposed to, then we could answer all our questions tomorrow. I have wondered whether this episode was moved because they thought it would be the best choice for SOTB…. I really hope we get some good AOL interviews from SOTB; there may be a weird vibe this year.

      • Yes, I forgot to mention the shoes as well. The thing is he is also carrying a towel that looks like the one he’s got on the beach. The towels looks very dry. And not to mention the fact that Eddie looks dry as well.
Maybe he’s got some sort of wind tunnel that he walks through to dry himself before he enters the house 😆

        • Ah……it’s the hot Hawaiian sun that dried both dog and man. I will most likely be lost in Steve’s facial expressions and forget able about whether he is wet or dry. I have to concentrate on that otherwise I might throw things at the TV at the thought of others thinking they know what is best for Steve. A number of them can’t run their own lives.

        • LOL, didn’t Alex’ friend Patrick Mullin talk about wind tunnels posting the ‘old mate’ pics? I thought he was talking about Alex testing some motobikes, but now it seems they have one on set. Well, Alex was wearing his McGarrett pants and boots in the pic on his deck, so maybe he takes this wind tunnel home too. 😉 ‘The infamous H50 wind tunnel. Not good for everyone’s hairdo, now available in extra strong, mind-blowing or a thrill ride that never ends.’ Perfect to blow the Lady and the Tramp shirt to shreds.
But I would pay serious money seeing Alex standing in this thing getting his shirt and pants blow-dried, tight fitting on his body… oy…
